On February 5, 2010 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, ROBERT CHARLES SUSIL, M.D., Ph.D. of Baltimore, MD, beloved husband of Gwyneth Anne Susil, M.D. (nee Weigel) and devoted father of William Joseph Susil; loving son of John and Agnes Susil of Friendswood, TX. and dear brother of Rebecca Saul of Friendswood, TX and Christopher Susil of West Des Moines, IA. Loving son-in-law of George S. Weigel and Joan B. Weigel of North Bethesda, MD. Dear brother-in-law of Monica R. Weigel of New York, NY and Stephen P. Weigel of North Bethesda, MD. Robert was born in Bay City, TX on December 8, 1974 and graduated from Blacksburg High School in Blacksburg, VA in 1993. He enrolled in Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore where he earned his BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Biomedical Engineering, along with his Medical degree. He was a Radiation Oncologist with Johns Hopkins Hospital. He married his wife, Gwyneth in 2004.

Funeral Arrangements

Due to the pending inclement weather conditions, the family has changed their orginal arrangements. Friends may call at the family owned MITCHELL-WIEDEFELD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 6500 York Road (at Overbrook Road), Baltimore, MD 21212 on Monday, February 15 from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, 5200 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21210 on Tuesday, February 16 at 11:00 AM.
